For the 2013-2014 academic year:
If you have eligible units for the 2013-2014 academic year, you can now request distributions. You can easily view your eligible units balance and request distributions online by logging in to your GET account. Once logged in, you can click “Using Units," and you will be guided through a process that tells us the following:

Reminders for using units:
Pay tuition, room and board, books and other qualified expenses.
Students are eligible to use up to 125 units per year plus any rollover units from the year prior.
If you are getting reimbursed for the previous academic year you must fill out a paper form.
Whenever you withdraw funds, GET will send you a 1099-Q form the following January. Click here for Frequently Asked Questions about the 1099-Q form.
- GET units may not be used to repay existing loans.
A GET account is considered an asset of the account owner, generally the parent, in determining financial aid eligibility.
