Saving for college can be daunting.  At GET, our goal is simple: to encourage as many Washington families as possible to save for college.

We want to help you make the best decision for your family. As state employees, we're not trying to "sell" you anything. Instead we're committed to helping you understand how the GET Program works so you can decide if it's the right choice for your family.

Although thousands of Washington families have opened GET accounts, the program is not right for everyone. For example, if your student is already in high school or college, GET may not be the best choice. However, for families who have more time to save, GET offers a unique set of benefits not available anywhere else.
